ROMAN II

Inspired by classical museum collections, this Luxe Pottery vase was created using a Western-style Raku firing process. At a precise moment during firing, the master potter removed the artwork from the kiln at intense heat and placed it into containers filled with combustible materials.

During this dramatic process, strands of horsehair were applied to the heated surface, producing distinctive black markings that form the vase’s unique decorative patterns.

The small white vessel, accented with black and touches of yellow, beautifully merges modern sophistication with classical design influences.
