Inspired by the classical museum collection, the vase had gone through a western-style Raku process. At a precise moment, the master potter removed the artwork from the kiln in an intense heat and placed them into containers with combustible based material.
The black patterns were actual horse hair placed on the vase while it was in an intense heat conditions creating the unique design features.
The small white and black with yellow accent color vase is a fusion of modern sophistication and classical designs.
