ROMAN

Inspired by classical museum collections, this vase underwent a Western-style Raku firing process. At a precise moment, the master potter removed the piece from the kiln while it was still under intense heat and placed it into containers filled with combustible materials.

During this process, strands of horsehair were applied to the heated surface, producing the distinctive black patterns that define the vase’s unique character.

The small white vase, accented with black and touches of yellow, represents a harmonious fusion of modern sophistication and classical design.
