This Luxe Pottery Japanese-inspired yellow Raku vase radiates modern sophistication and artistic mastery. Remarkably delicate—“as light as a feather”—the piece is extremely challenging to create.

Its distinctive black markings are formed through a traditional horsehair Raku technique. During firing, strands of horsehair are placed on the vase while it is still under intense heat, creating dramatic patterns that appear to rise from the surface.

The vase features a voluminous rounded body that tapers into a narrow neck with a slightly flared rim. Its silhouette resembles a gourd or a large droplet, with an asymmetrical belly that conveys natural movement and organic flow.

A striking two-tone finish defines the surface: one side displays a warm golden yellow that gradually transitions into a soft creamy white on the other.
